Important News Regarding Mail-in Voting
You need to vote before Election Day if voting by mail. Ballots dropped on election day will no longer be postmarked on that day - but the day after. This was changed by the USPS in September.
This means ballots mailed on election day will not be counted.
Vote Early! And encourage everyone to do so as well.
If someone has not mailed their ballot on Election Day, they can:
- go into the post office and have it hand stamped,
- drop it by a voting center or registrar’s office,
- or drop into a Ballot Drop-off box.
Check on the county registrar’s office for locations of the vote centers and Ballot Drop-off boxes.
