What's on the ballot: June 2, 2026

 

This primary will determine the top candidates for California Governor — the top 2 candidates from this election, regardless of party, will move on to the general election in November.

 

Sonoma County offices

 

The Board of Supervisors sets county policy, budgets, and oversees county services.

  • County Supervisor, 2nd District — The 2nd District covers central Santa Rosa. See candidates 
  • County Supervisor, 4th District — The 4th District covers eastern Santa Rosa. Both Supervisor seats are up this cycle. See candidates 
  • Other county elected offices: See who has filed to runCounty Superintendent of Schools — Leads the Sonoma County Office of Education, supporting the ~40 county school districts.
  • Auditor-Controller-Treasurer-Tax Collector — The county's chief financial officer: manages public funds, collects property taxes, and audits county departments.
  • County Clerk-Recorder-Assessor — Maintains official public records and assesses property values for tax purposes.
