The elections this year are jam packed with key races in Sonoma County. As the primary election approaches for Sonoma County Board of Supervisors – District 1 & 3, the League of Women Voters Sonoma County will present two virtual candidate forums.

The District 1 forum will be on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at 6:30 - 8:00pm.

It’s LWV Pros & Cons Time Once Again!

The LWV Pros & Cons team continues our longstanding tradition of educating voters by creating a non-partisan and unbiased look at the pros & cons of State Proposition 1 and Sonoma County Measure H. Both these measures will be on your March 5th ballot. This is your opportunity to demystify your ballot and learn what a “yes” vote means and what a “no” vote means. You will hear the existing law, proposed changes, fiscal impact, the supporters & opponents as well as the campaign financing for each measure.

These recordings will be coming to LWVSonoma.org and the Sonoma County LWV YouTube channel as soon as possible.

We’ll be presenting forums for local races and creating presentations for propositions on the November ballot, too, and we’ll need help!!
