This is a reminder that you have registered to join us for a civics class this coming Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at 6pm (PST). Your Zoom Login should have been emailed to you when you registered. It will be sent to you again on February 5th and also an hour before the event starts. Your Zoom login is not in this email.
Why should you take this class? Democracy begins at the state and local level -- and it starts with us! Our February 6th presentation is an easy and fun way to get up to speed about what happens in our state capital and why we should care.
Dr. David McCuan is a professor of Political Science at Sonoma State University. You have probably seen him interviewed on mainstream television as a respected commentator. Dr. McCuan has a national reputation for his expertise in analyzing the factors and variables that determine elections. Dr. McCuan is always a very popular speaker, but as you can imagine, during an election year he is in exceptionally high demand. We are extremely fortunate (and grateful!) to have him kick off our Civics Series.
